Rococo Collection

Rococo was an 18th century artistic movement, known for it’s avant-garde and unique designs. The opulence, richness and grandeur of the Rococo period is beautifully reflected in our new jewellery collection.

The Rococo aesthetic is playful and witty, using jewels and adornments to distinguish oneself. Rococo is synonymous with opulence, speaking to a time of great excess and self expression. Tassels, ribbons, gemstone and pearls were all utilised to created elaborate fashions.

In our new jewellery collection, Sister Loves has sourced vintage and unique pieces to create necklaces, bracelets and earrings, which reflect the aesthetic and sentiment of the Rococo age. All pieces are genderless and can be interpreted by the wearer to reflect their own personal style.

Rococo was developed by craftspeople and designers, to demonstrate their skill and innovation. Pieces were bespoke and hand-worked in the style of their creator, each a design a unique expression of their artistry. Sister Loves believes we should celebrate makers and the heritage of their craft, so this collection is a homage not only to a period of fashion but also ethos of design.
